Smultronstället is a Swedish weekend school in London aimed at children aged 1-9 years old. The school aims to encourage and develop the Swedish language skills of children living in London with at least one Swedish parent. The youngest children practice their Swedish through singing, playing and creating arts and crafts, whilst learning numbers letters and colours. The older children practice reading and writing skills, whilst the speech is encouraged through interaction with their peers. We work with different themes each term and emphasise Swedish traditions to strengthen the children’s cultural identity. We celebrate all the major Swedish holidays, such as lucia and midsommar.

NEW!  In January 2018 we will be starting a new Småsmultron group on Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill. The class is aimed at ages 2.5 – 4 years and will take place 10am – 11 am on Wednesdays. Please e-mail us on info@smultronstället.co.uk for more information or to book a space.

Occasionally we offer a Swedish Holiday Club during school holidays.
